Kick Summer into Gear with the Take Your Health By Storm Challenge
Calling all Seattle Storm fans! Are you looking for a summer fitness challenge with cool prizes and a chance to meet players from Seattle’s two-time WNBA champion team?
Then join the Take Your Health by Storm challenge hosted by LifeWise and the Seattle Storm. From stair climbing to urban hiking and kayaking, participate in six fun health challenges and three fitness events, all with the goal of encouraging you to get up, enjoy the outdoors, move and be active this summer.
To lead the charge, select Storm fans and LifeWise Ambassadors (including Olympic swimmer and LifeWise’s Director of Health Inspiration, Ariana Kukors) have joined forces as the Take Your Health by Storm All-Star Team. They will track their progress against the six health challenges on social media – and invite you to join them to do the same!
Are you up for the challenge? Here are easy three ways to get involved with Take Your Health by Storm this summer:
1. Accept the challenge
New challenges will be announced at Storm games and will roll out online on the LifeWise blog. Up first is #HealthByStorm Challenge 1: Take the Stairs. According to All-Star Team member and LifeWise Ambassador Eric Earling, it’s the little things – like taking the stairs – that have contributed to his health transformation. Step up and accept challenge!
2. Share Your Experience & Enter to Win Fun Prizes
We want to hear from you! Tell us about your experience to enter weekly challenge drawings for a variety of prizes such as a free shoe voucher from Super Jock ‘N Jill, courtside tickets, concert tickets or a signed basketball or shoe from Storm players. Here are three easy ways to enter the drawing:

3. Attend a summer event
Join LifeWise and Seattle Storm for outdoor community fitness events, including biking, running or walking the Burke-Gilman Trail (7/6), hiking Little Si (7/27), or kayaking (8/12). All events are open to the public and will cater to a variety of fitness levels, offering something for everyone.
